Characters Background
The Son of Gerri the black smith, more commonly known in the fjord as Hrafn the Wretched. As a young man there was no argument that I was the worst apprentice blacksmith and most troublesome Son. My thoughts were less interested in hard work, craftmanship and honour and more with mead, gambling and women. During this time a met a man named “Ulfrun, the tooth puller” a skilled Vinkinger who spent is takings on the finest things he could afford. Eventually the whispers of the Fjord spoke of my exile for my miss for giving’s. With this “Ulfrun” convinced me to join what is now known as the “Great Heath Army”.
Why you joined the vike?
Pub Stories! For many years I have had friends who take part in later period reenactment, their pub stories of battles and community where inspiring. As I wasn’t a fan of the later periods the portrayed, so I started to search for local groups in periods I was interested in. It turned out that Ulfhedinn where just round the corner from where I lived at the time. Very quickly I found the hobby not only enjoyable and a form of exercise, but I found a group I concerned my extended family.
